Almost completed all tasks and publishing the first Book of the Knighthood sagas in Paperback now the next step. Readying the Kindle manuscript ...

Finished editing the manuscript for Book I of my fantasy series. 264,000 words! Eyeball fry on steroids. Anyway at last it's done and so is the attached Glossary.

Will be working on the cover art from today. That is also going to be a rather mammoth task. I have so many options and only so much space, so must decide who and what goes into it and who and what gets left out. I'm going to just let the picture decide for itself. It's best to sit in front of an empty canvas and let the imagination make contact with the narrative and let your brush be the servant of this process. It's a rather magical process. Colours, shapes, characters, details ... they just appear and place themsleves where they know they belong on that whitespace in front of you. It's a concatenation of events like conception and birth :-)

Each book and its story and characters lives in each reader's own mind, though, and the magic of books is that there is no single way of looking at anything or anyone. Not like a movie. Everything isn't laid out for us. A book is an untrodden path and the reader is always the fellow traveller of whatever comes to mind as the words weave a narrative that shapes itself from our own individual experiences. :-)
