A sea voyage01/30/2012 Part One of Book II in The Royal Sagas of Shiz is fully under way and Konad and his brothers of Shiz are embarked upon a voyage to the Islands of Mikk. Before they reach their destination many perils await them on the glittering expanse of the Bright Sea, among the deadly floating islands of singing souls and from sea rovers who stalk treasure ships bound to and from Helpon's wealthiest colonial possession. Happy New Year everyone and may 2012 be good to you. If not, may you be equal to its challenges. :-) I will be starting Book II of The Royal Sagas of Shiz and hope to have it ready by the end of the year. I won't say what the title is yet, but this one is about Islands and revolution and Konad and his brothers of Shiz and their friends and Companions will be going to the Islands of Mikk, where evil is brewing in a secret grotto beneath the Hill of Chetterene. Those of you who have read Book I will know that this is the sacred Hill that contains the chapel in which Shexam and Jessid were married. Although the islands appear to be prospering as a colony of Heplon and are administered by the Knights of Shiz and defended by a garrison of fighting Knights from Helpon and Thard, all is not what is seems ... I'll be adding more images to the Sagas web site and building the Muran world as opportunity affords. You will always be welcome to visit. The story of Shiz and Ansalu and of Konad's journey to find his mother's people and his roots in the Ansalusian lost civilization will cover five books in the series. So, like all long tales, I will be receiving their history day by day as it unfolds to my imagination and the people of Mura tell me their story so I can relate it to you. :-D See you there, or maybe through the pages of one of the Sagas as you step out on that long road that leads from Helpon to a snowy kingdom far away, known only in legend and kept secret by the scribes of Ansalu.
